Hi, I'm Karen C Ely, also known as KC. I'm a board-certified family nurse practitioner starting an independent practice focused on dermatology and urgent dermatological care.

I've lived in Ellensburg with my husband Rick since 1998, and our children graduated from local schools. With 23 years of experience at Memorial's Emergency Department, including 13 years as a Nurse Practitioner, I've gained invaluable knowledge and skills from my exceptional teammates at Emergency Associates of Yakima.

My passion for dermatology was ignited by seeing family and friends suffer from skin conditions like skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and eczema. Recognizing the need for accessible dermatological care, I decided to open a clinic in Ellensburg to share my expertise.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I'm committed to providing excellent patient care, focusing on personalized treatment plans and making referrals to specialists when necessary. My goal is for every patient to feel heard, supported, and cared for on their journey to healthier skin.
